I'm a Yorkshire based writer specialising in gothic and weird fiction. I've always dreamed, written and walked in the hills.  My first memories are of the Munsters,  Basil Rathbone's Holmes and Dracula.  I fell in love with the ghost stories of MR James, the madness of Edgar Allen Poe and the overwhelming prose of HP Lovecraft.  My favourite words are meniscus and liminal.  
When I'm not writing, I am climbing the hills of Yorkshire, the Lakes, the Cairngorms and Highlands.
